Flying a Drone

Art Without Borders

"We all live under the shadow of the drone, although most of us are lucky enough not to live under its direct fire. But the attitude they represent - of technology used for obscuration and violence; of the obfuscation of morality and culpability; of the illusion of omniscience and omnipotence; of the lesser value of other people's lives; of, frankly, endless war - should concern us all." Inspiration

The digital revolution facilitated a new era where artists can take advantage of a world "without borders" and changed the art world by allowing them to create these diverse and memorable images that rapidly developed technology within artwork. With Bridle using digital art in his work enabled him revolutionize traditional art forms and push the barriers of creation pushing his message out to the world about the privacy dangers of drones in the world.

This artist inspired me because they are in fact watching and videoing things in the world and I think that this is something that should be publicized to make people aware of it. We do not know where the video is going whether it be the government or just for a social observation project at a university. James Briddle is in the right for being passionate about the power of drones and I think it is very unique how he is able to use his gift of art and raise awareness through it.
